Distributor is out and #1 on T.D.C. vacuum advance pointing straight ahead, now does the center bug go where in relation to #1 before, after (lead or lag)? The manual is all about test equipment and does not have layman terms such as timing at idle and timing range controlled by vacuum advance. A great help would be a simplified instruction on simple procedures. If this is a test of working on car calmly I am failing.
