Is the 1956 Thunderbird bumper jack with strap the same for 1957 and if so does it secure in the trunk the same?

Th e1956 Thunderbird bumper jack is not the same as the 1957 The '57 stores next to the spare, the '56 stores in the rear driver's fender.
