97 thunderbird shuts off when slowing down

Im new to the forum and new to thunderbirds. My girlfriend has a 1997 thunderbird with the 4.6 v8 and told me its mine to do with as i please. But i want to get it running right before anything. When driving the car it sometimes shuts off when you slow down to stop or turn. It also seems to feel like you are downshifting a manual transmission if that helps the diagnosis. Ive read it could be a vacuum leak or the IAC but that was on an f150 forum with the 4.6

yep mine did the same i replaced the 3 or 4 vacuum lines on the top front of the engine and that fixed it, sorry car isnt here this moment to tell you exactly which one but i just changed them all
