i just bought a 96 3.8 automatic thunderbird with a rod knock .
I have a donor 3.8 mustang 5 sp .
I m going to use . has anyone done this swap

The Mustang setup is a bit shorter, the gearshift if left stock comes up under the radio, if ur good at fab, I'd recomend the swap and build something that extends the shifter backwards towards the orignal shifter location
