This is my first tbird. I have done almost every other ford out there. I got it for a steal and the inside and outside are spotless, so I want to bring it back. Blown head gasket and locked up.
WWYD? Crate motor, rebuild either this one or another one? Anything important I need to know when I look at engines if I change it out. I see the Romeo and Windsor part, but do truck motors work? Cougars? Any certain years or setups better than others. Anyone know if 97 and 96 are compatible?
I can do 351s in my sleep, this is just out of my comfort zone and I dont wanna waste a bunch of cash on the wrong thing.
Thank you
