92 lx 302. Good rim and tire sizes to fill in the wheel wells

I was wondering whats a good size rim to put on these cars to give it a wider stance, wheels are tucked far inside the wheel wells. Also what size is to big, I was wanting to get an 8.5 width rim with a 20 some mm offset and put 245s on them but that might be to much. Thank you in advance

The Supercoupe’s ran 16 x 7 wheels with 225/60r16 I have 17 x 9 with 255/45r17 on my 92 with a 97 frontend on it
