63 power window switch location

hello--I just bought a beautiful 63 Thunderbird convertible--the master power window switch is in the door, not in the console like other 63s--could early 63s have had them in the door or is mine some kind of confused mess?

Hi mines a 62 and on the doors - maybe this is a early 63 and they were using the parts left over?
