I posted a thread last fall but haven't been able to work on it over the winter. The headlights on my 56 work fine the dimmer works fine, the problem is when I turn the switch to turn on the dash lights the turn indicators come on, the dimmer light comes on, and they blink together. I was told it may be bad grounds. I checked and cleaned the grounds for the headlights, signal lights and tail lights, and no change. It was also suggested the ground for the instrument cluster located behind the dash attached by four clips. I see two terminals that look like junctions. one has hot wires, the other is bare. It was suggested the ground for the instrument is attached to what I assume is the bare terminal. I don't see anything else, and also where is this ground wire coming from. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
