After working on issues piecemeal with my 55 I made the decision to restart my project. In doing so I have learned so much, have become very intimate with my Bird and now understand how enjoyable working on an bird can be.

Engine removed and getting the full treatment

All chrome removed and restored (windshield removed)

Dash and all gages removed ( being restored)

Body is gone over with fine tooth comb cutting and welding as needed.
( to include floor pans and rockers)

I'll post some photos

I have a fèw question
on seat motors and heater blower motor. As this is converted to 12 volt will the old motors still work okay?

I am planning on getting exhaust manifolds ceramic coated has anyone done this?
