FYI: After disconnecting batt & clamping Pos/Neg cables for 60 minutes, the 04 5R55S tranny now shifts very, very smoothly in all gears. No hard shifting or clunking in any gear. Only had to reinstall radio stations and recalibrate windows. A simple 1st step before other costlier steps.

If this works long term, I will be very surprised.

Bidder, point well taken. What next steps do you recommend if this “short term cure” expires? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. 33k mileage. Thanks, Merlot William.
