Pulled plastic degas bottle because of a leak, but didn't get around to replacing for 3 months (because life/weather). I'm not remembering now, of the two nipples at the top of the tank, is only one connected to a hose? I'm thinking that maybe the other is left open to allow air out, but I can't be sure and (I think) there are no more hoses to connect. One nipple on the original bottle is very dirty on the inside, but air can flow through both, which means the system wouldn't be pressurized, and that doesn't sound right. Every image I've searched doesn't show the connection at the top. And does the bleeder valve retainer slide over the remaining nipple? Please confirm if I'm good to go, gotta get this Bird back on the road! If I'm wrong, could someone show me what hose is missing, or if the exposed nipple is supposed to be plugged??
