2004 Bird chip for performance

Has anyone bought and or installed a performance chip .
Trying to get better fuel mileage and a little more performance.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.

SCT makes a handheld tuner, that is what most are using. Handheld tuner uses OBD2 port to change parameters of fuel and Spark to give you better performance.

Questionable, most guys can't keep their foot off the accelerator. Too much fun with the new found performance.
