What is the procedure for changing the Output shaft speed sensor on my 2003? Do you have to drop the transmission? Can it be accessed thru the center shift console?

The output shaft speed sensor is located on the top of the transmission on the rear left side and is accessed from under the vehicle.

If you need the extra room, you can lower the rear of the transmission slightly by supporting the transmission with a transmission jack and removing the rear transmission mount.

I've been going thru the 6100+ page service/workshop manual (digital) - lot of info in that - is that where this info is from? Difficult navigating to exactly where you want to go since the index is grouped up. This picture is great. Thank you again for the info.
