Has anyone figured out a "ice chest" solution for the T-bird 2002-5; We often go out and ALWAYS take something in an ice chest, but mine are too tall to get in there...If anyone has any creative ideas, I'd love to hear about them!

We use a flexible lined grocery tote. The nice ones that you bring refrigerated products home from the grocery store in. Pack it with whatever, fill it with ice and a couple of those frozen cube thingies, and it will flex and form between and behind the seats. With a zipper top, you have full access.

LL Bean makes a soft pack cooler in different sizes. I have several sizes and find they work well. You can actually squish them if needed.

Moderator note- Here is a purchase link for that slim cooler, I think it's discontinued, but there are some here on ebay

Yes, the Rubbermaid cooler fits nicely in the space behind the seats. Some owners paint to match the car and attach wings or Tbird script.

A small lunch cooler 7"x12" fits perfectly. I have two. One with ice packs and one that plugs into the power socket

Honestly it looks like an insulated tote bar is your best bet here.
