Are they low to the ground for entering and exiting? My friend has a bad back, and needs easy in and out.

They are low. They are not easy to get in or out if one has lower back issues. Once in they are very comfortable, but then difficult to get out.
I have a bad back but I found helps me out is put a pillow in the seat that raises you up a little bit and open the door real wide when you get out and lean a little bit forward as you're starting to go up that helped me and it might help you game taker red T-Bird thank you

I have a bad back(surgeries etc) I’ve owned Corvettes, Mustangs, Hot Rods - the best way is back into doorway seat sit down swing legs around and your good - to get out swing legs around put your left hand up on the seat back grab the door with your right hand and pull yourself up and out.
