Is there any noticeable improvement installing a 2.25 cat back exhaust system? What are the hp and torque improvements over stock? Does it help increase gas mileage? I'm thinking about using Dynomax super turbo round mufflers #17741 and have a custom 2.25" exhaust made with an H pipe. Less than 1/2 the cost of a Borla system.

Need to plan replacing exhaust behind the Cats.
Prefer a quiet exhaust. It can help performance and when not “pressing it fast” will improve efficiency.
Before resonators X-pipe.
Dual Resonators
Rear mufflers to keep it quiet at idle and normal driving. Do not want borla or sport exhaust.
Recommendations?

what I did (and it was cheaper than the Boria) was just go down to an exhaust shop, and build a cat back with the crossover, I went with flow-masters, but they make their presence known, I'm sure they make a quieter muffler that mounts in the rear as mine does, and I use the original exits also. only cost about 1k a little less I believe, out the door, no rattles, nice sound. Hopefully you have a small exhaust operation near you, not a chain, they are crazy high.
