I can’t believe it happened but I lost the darn keys to my ‘94 on Monday, some here on my property but I haven’t been able to find them all week.
The locksmith wants $400 dollars to make one key!!
I have a ‘97 for a parts car, and I have the key..... so I’m thinking I maybe able to swap the ignition cylinders? Thing is, it’s probably a lot harder to remove if I can’t put the ignition of the ‘94 in the run position.
So I ask your wisdom, wise ones.
Should I swap the cylinders myself?
Should I call the local Ford dealership and hope they have the key codes?
Should I scout the dark net for the geek who tirelessly documented the codes for all these old cars?
Or will I have to bite the bulletin and pay a bitter old locksmith to make me a key?
Yours in thunder,
