I have a 1993 and at night it looks like the taillights on the trunk are illuminated on one side, but not the other. I tried to see if there was a light on those, and I could not find anything. Am I missing something or my eyes are deceiving me?
I am talking about the area that also hold the back up lights.

On our 1995 the lights on truck lid are LED, I think you have to replace it as a unit.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't see any wiring going to the lights, but it must be in another area that I did not see. I didn't take the whole assembly off yet.

Just purchased a 94 LX. Need a new light switch, as somertimes the park lights work, and others not. But while experimenting with the switch and checking which lights were on and others not working, I also noticed that on the driver's side of the trunk red panel was illuminated, but not on the passenger side. Looked for a/some lamps to check or replace and could not tfind any! When I get the new headlight switch installed and lights working as they should will do some more checking. Definetely a mystery how one side works, and can find no wires or lamps going to it!

got the new light switch installed, all lights work great. As earlier, and as tghbudde said, the driver's side red panel is illuminated, (looks like a strip of LEDs along the bottom) but, again could find no wires or power supply going to it. The mustery continues!
