1991 seats not moving

I purchased this thunder bird about a year ago and have not been able to adjust the seat forward or backwards I have 4 seats and all the same problem it’s getting jammed inside the 3 motor bracket I’m not sure what exactly it’s called, I managed to break one of them prying with a fair bit of force fearing I may break the other one I’m finally reaching out to the forums no amount of searching have I found people with the same problem I can see it binding inside I’m just not sure if I should drill the rivets holding it together or if there’s a way to get the rust out of it. I have put pictures of the non broken one and the broken one. Any help is welcome

A lot of people use WD-40 on rusty stuff.

I’ve tried everything from wd40 to moove it blowing the rails out making sure everything is clear I can see the plastic casing moving from the outside like there’s something stuck in there
