1990 SC quit running, turns over,no spark

My 1990 SC quit running, it was running great. It turns over and has ignition power, but there is no spark out of the coil, how can I figure out the problem, the code reader was no help, it said the same the blinking dash light, what and how do I check pertinent components

How many miles are on the spark plugs? Check voltage going in to the coil and coming out of it. If voltage is good in/out and plugs/wires are good. Could be distributor cap and button are wore out.
