1989 tbird no signals solved

My buddy came over with a new flasher . It seems it has two
separate coils inside for hazards and signals. It's a black box on
the right of the steering ,under dash.
Hope it helds somebodyelse.
Dan

turn signal

I hope you disconnected the negative battery cable before working on the turn signal relay.🙂

ALL T-birds with the airbag system have to have the cable disconnected so that there's no chance of the airbag being discharged.

Once that's done, you still have to wait a minimum of two minutes before starting any work on the electrical system.
