1989 digital gauge cluster removal

If your '89 is like my '95, I just swapped my cluster about 6 months ago, but iirc, start off by taking the 3 hex bolts out to remove the bottom piece down by your knees, then loosen the two steering column hex nuts, back those two out as far as you can but don't remove just leave loosely on the studs, then tilt steering wheel all the way down, now for the cluster bezel, two bolts/screws on the bottom, one right, one left, these two should be exposed now with the lower piece off and then two bolts/screws just above the speedometer, now you might have to keep a little pressure pushing down on the steering column(it will not rest all the way down without a little push down), now be very careful and wiggle out that bezel, don't break it, those bezel's are getting hard to find, now 4 hex head bolts that holds cluster in, then a reach in from the right side to pull the connectors from the backside of cluster, hope you have a skinny hand reaching behind that cluster, they don't give ya much room to reach behind................
