Hi, I just bought my '88 TC and really didn't know anything about them, and noticed it had ride control. A few things are happening: 1) In Auto mode, it rides ok, but could use new struts and shocks all round. In FIRM mode, she's a very firm and the front right bounces more than the other 3. The big question is is it worth it to replace the struts and shocks, and see if the ride control settles down, or replace everything with non- ride control struts and shocks, unplug the

I see this post is over 4 years old and no one responded. What did you end up doing? I am now having similar issues with my front left strut.
 
Not sure what the OP has done. The PRC units are not to be found anywhere.

I went with KYB GR-2 front struts and rear shocks. The ride is firm and planted. Definitely replace all the bushings in the rear control arms if they have not been done yet and at minimum inspect the front bushings. I have replaced all the bushing making a world of difference.
