Not sure what to try next. Replaced the fuel tank, sending unit and fuel pump on this car with a 351M due to a tank with rust problems. Carburetor overflows, floods out and wets the top of the engine now. So I rebuilt the carburetor and still having the issue. Lowered the float level quite a bit from initial setting and still does it. Checked fuel pressure with a gauge deadheaded in fuel line to the carburetor and has 5 PSI. Hooked up a regulated air supply to the inlet fitting on the carburetor with the top off the carburetor and fuel lifting the float against the seat and it held 15 PSI just fine. Before I replaced the tank it never had the flooding problem but would not pull itself down the road because of lack of fuel. Anyone have any other ideas?
Forgot to mention, carburetor is a 2 barrel motorcraft 2150 according to all the info I gathered trying to find a rebuild kit.
