1978 Seat Clicks when closing doors

Looking for help, whenever I close my doors and it activates the interior light switch my seats click what could be the issue with that ? It's a 78 town landou edition..

Hey Spanky, welcome to the forum! That clicking is the front seat backrests locking and unlocking automatically so a passenger can get in and out of the back seat and not have to reach for a latch.
