Im buying new carpets for my 1978 Ford Thunderbird, I found some on ebay for 358$ with mass backing in Chamois which is the original color of my carpets and I found some on stockinteriors.com for only 200$ with mass backing but they had no chamois option (Color code 850), but only gold (Color code 851). I'm wondering how noticeable the difference is in color and whether I should just go for the gold and hope that it's close enough rather than spending 158 extra dollars for a difference that is negligible. I can always send myself a sample but I'm wondering if someone knows the answer I may as well ask. Also is mass backing worth it?
