1978 cast aluminum wheel color paint

My 78 lipstick red Town Landau wheels need some serious touchup. The paint in the wheels has faded over time and I would like to media blast them and repaint. Does anyone know the paint code or color?

I agree with this. Get them powder coated. You can get the color in anything you like. Including close to the original as well.

I apologize , I don't know the color code.
Most body shops can take a picture, have software to reproduce the color formula using their brand of paint.

Problem is that the wheels are faded and I'm not sure they can match the original color. But, thank you for the suggestion.

I think a small shop would best.
Have you ask Ford parts to look up the vin?

Following this because I am curious. You are talking about the aluminum turbine wheels not the honeycomb plastic covered ones? I am guessing the paint color between the vanes?
