Hey guys,

I need to run a wire from the brake light switch into the trunk so I can split the indicators and brake lights to conform to EU road-worthiness requirements.
The way I see it the cleanest way to do that would be to follow the original wiring harness under the rear bench and into the trunk, however I can't figure out how to remove the bench and backrest. I have included a picture for reference, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Kind regards,

Lennard

I have figured it out.

Here is how to do it:
The bench is hooked in the front, just pull up the back and then it can be unhooked and pulled out.
The backrest ist attached with two screws near the seatbelt mounts - the screws might be obscured by sound dampening material, loosen those and push up on the backrest to unhook it at the top.

I have put this here, should anyone else als clueless as me run into the same problem.
