1972 Thunderbird Coolant Reservoir interchangeable with 1973 Lincoln Mark 4

I am curious if a coolant Reservoir out of a 1973 Lincoln Mark 4 would fit like OEM in my 1972 429 Ford Thunderbird. I don't like the fact that it just spews out on the ground.
