1971 4 door. Are these cars pre wired from the factory for all potential options? The car has everything, including a sunroof, but does not have power seats. I want to add them. I looked under the seats but didn't see any wires. I have a donor car. Is it possible their under the carpet, or should I just forget this plan.

Please title your posts as prompted moving forward. How is anyone supposed to know what your post is about when the title is "1971 4 door"?

Updated.

That a good question, but unless someone responds who has done this, or has done a complete interior restoration, you probably won't get a response. Your best bet would be to look under the carpet in the donor car. I'm looking at the parts book for the '71 and it appears that there are several wiring harnesses that are required, so you will likely need to get these from your donor car.

Since there are multiple harnesses necessary for this option, I doubt you will find them under the carpet.
Here is the D0SZ-14716-A driver's side harness for sale:

Take a look in the 1965-72 Ford parts catalog for pictures the entire system.
