So after dealing with my cars antique charging system. Trying may different ways to fix the issues of dead batteries, no lights at night (yikes!), and sitting in parking lots waiting for a jump. I am finally going to be ripping out the old system and putting in a modern alternator. Now for anyone wondering I found a very nice write up on how to do this with a modern Ford 3G 130 amp alternator. It was easy enough and I am hoping to see much better results and brighter lights!
