I had a front passenger side leak on the floor every time it rained. I investigated to find out the cowls get filled with debris over time. This problem very common in mustangs. They actually make a cowl cover for the mustangs to rectify this problem. Unfortunately they do no make one for the thunderbird. So I made one today out 24 in × 8 in plexiglass. Cut it out on a bandsaw and wrapped it D type rubber weatherstrippin. Next I will drill 4 holes through the cover with 3/16 eyebolts with nuts and washers to secure to cowl grill
