My 1966 went off for body work and paint...Not only did it come back with a seized engine from being left out in the weather with no hood or air cleaner which allowed much rain water into the engine..Also the nails that the winshield moulding attach to were gone. I believe theses were tack welded to the channel. I don't know where to find these how many were they go exactly now there is paint on that location I don't want to try welding , was thinking of drilling and tapping a very small fastener say a 4-40 size using a small stainless steel type nail that would be of the right thickness to be threaded if I can't find an appropriate threaded bolt screw that can work to retain the clips.
