1966 Adding a Low Fuel Light Indicator

Are all 64-66 Thunderbirds pre wired to install low fuel light in the dash. Or do I need to remove gas tank to change sending unit to uo date?

They are not rewired but you do not have to remove the tank to change the sending unit.
