Just wondering about what I would describe as a buzzing noise in the transmission that occurs briefly when the car has been sitting for a couple days and happens in the low gear as it shifts up or down when first driven.
It’ll “buzz” for 3-5 seconds and then stops as it seemingly picks up fluid?
It will not repeat the rest of the day after the first one to two times when first driven.
Just curious about whether this is just a fluid purging occurance or the beginning of a part wearing out.
Any thoughts?
Tim

Sounds odd, how does it go into gear initially after sitting? A thump or bang would indicate the front pump is losing prime. I'm not sure of the buzzing...
