Trying to determine why the interior lights do not come on when I open the drivers door. However, when I turn the light switch on the lights do come on.
Also the left turn signal indicator on the fender does not work . I have changed the bulb with a new one but doesn't work the rest of the turn signals work on this side

Could be a faulty switch in the drivers door. Signal light could be a ground issue.
Thanks for advise. Turnout one of the wires to switch was not connected. not sure how to check ground on fender turn signal since there is only on wire attached to it.

The ground for the signal light is the fender itself. Try removing it and cleaning up the underside mounting hardware.

Try (this is a test) running a ground wire from your battery to the chrome body of the turn signal. Turn on signal. If it works, you have a ground problem. If it doesn’t, then no power is getting to bulb.
