There were only a few changes in the appearance of the cars that were made in 1965. The easiest to recognize is the simulated air scoop on the fenders which was only used in 1965. Other changes were the Thunderbird wings insignia on the hood and the Thunderbird wings insignia in the center of the rear trim.

Yes, That's a 1965. You can tell by the chrome trim on the side of the front fenders. You can barely see the bars in the taillights too. I ought to know, I have one! Happy New Year everyone!
