1965 Cleaning/Interior Refresh?

I'll be taking in this 1965 Thunderbird Convertible, what are the odds I can get this looking quite a bit better? Not sure what to use to do it or the process or if its a fools errand and it should just be left alone?

It would appear that the seat upholstery is leather so I would find a good leather cleaner. On the other hand if it's vinyl just use a mild detergent and a scrub brush.
 
Stuff called “Fantastic” works great on white vinyl. Scrub it in with a soft brush. Wipe/rinse. Works on the convertible, too.
 
Have the interior professionally detailed, worth the investment.
 
Fantastic does work great. BUT it eats away at the stiching over time. As told by the the installer of my convertable top.
