1965 carburator heat insulation

Have not tried it on my '65. I replaced the stock air filter/housing with an aftermarket 14" x 2" air filter/housing. Allows better air flow into carburetor, and allows air to circulate around carburetor. Have to put an aftermarket 90 degree elbow on bottom of 14" housing to run hose from passenger side valve cover breather. Also, used split after market anti-heat material over fuel line from carburetor to fuel pump. Previous owner had the heat problems. Motor runs fine for me.
