Does anyone have any clever ideas on how to protect the paint on the car from the Tonneau cover?

What are you using?

Thanks,
Dave

Talk to Bird's Nest, they have a foot hook and latch system to keep the tonneau cover from sliding around. Whole system is around $10.00

I have the kit. I went to install them, thinking they were rivnuts. It stripped out and did not compress at all.

How are these supposed to be installed? I do not trust that any adhesive to hold them from twisting.
