Need to improve sideview mirrors before I give myself garage rash or side swipe a car changing lanes. Do not really want to install fender mirrors because they get in the way when working on motor. Who has parabolic mirrors attached to factory mirrors ? If so what size and placed where on mirrors? I am even open to installing a larger mirrors to replace factory mirrors, would rather have safety than aesthetics. Please advise before I tear out wing windows and replace them with a modern mirrors !!!

From an earlier post.

Here is my creative way to add a side mirror. It's an eTrailer mirror on a Garmin dashboard base. Had to cut the mirror back so it fit into the ball on the base but it holds nicely.

Not perfect but when driving it allows me to see if there is anyone in the right lane.
Also is temporary so I can remove and put on the floor when I go to a car show.

I just purchased stick-on convex mirrors from my local auto parts store and put them on the lower outside corners of the original mirrors. Have had them on for years and it solved the problem for me.

I only have the one mirror on my bird so yes joining the highway can be abit nerve-wracking having to literally look behind quickly while driving 70. I think the passenger side was option purchase.
