1964 Convertible deck lid motor wiring (1 Viewer)

Quick question here. I found a loose wire off my deck lid motor. It is black and comes of the drivers side end of the deck lid motor. Where do I attach it? It looks like a ground but I need to be sure. See attached image (note I put the new blue end on it)

Hi Dave,
here’s a pic from inside my ‘65 convertible.

That. is a ground wire for the pump. screw it down to a good body ground

From what I see it should be grounded to the screw at the relay hold down and yes it is a ground
