Car has original carb and has A/C making it difficult to get my big paws in to use a stubby screwdriver that I keep dropping while burning my hands on hot motor. There has to be a tool made for these Fords or maybe I could find a piece of rubber hose to put on each jet that will come out far enough to adjust?

I suppose you could use a flex shaft screwdriver.

i have always used a long handled screwdriver wit a small tip

BBQ gloves and I like the idea of rubber vacuum hose that's just tight enough to turn the adjustment screw without the danger of overtightening. Plus you have much more length to get away from the heat.
