Hello, has any one had the issue with the sun visor not staying up? I am currently dealing with this, was wondering if the problem is caused by the Retainer clip/ Anchor pin/ or Bracket arm?? any advice is welcomed. Thank you.

No I don't have rubber tips on them? I have done the Duct tape/ caulking. has not worked, I am going to try a drinking straw over the shaft hope its works.

I believe there's a metal insert molded into the sunvisor if you swing out your visor and it removes easily you may see it stuck/ rusted onto the shaft. If so your SOL. If not try using a metal center punch and put some dimples onto the shaft you'll have to remove the visor assembly from the vehicle to do this they also sell a hand knerling tool a bit more expensive.
What holds it from falling down is basically a spring tension c shaped sleeve.you need to expand the diameter of the sunvisor shaft for an interference fit. Next is buying another one. Good luck. Remember it's a hobby.
