Does anyone have a good or easy way to install a hood spring, I’ve tried and cannot do it, thank you!

Generally I raise the hood all the way and use a pry bar or large screwdriver to force it into place.

I'm assuming you already have the old one off?
Best advice I've read, I haven't tried it yet, is to force thick washers between the rings of the new spring, this forces the new spring to lengthen, which allows you to easily install it. Once installed, use pliers to remove the washers, and ta-da! It's installed!
