wanting to put a new carburator on my 1963 T-Bird with a 390 and I saw a while back someone had mentioned either a Holly or Edelbrok was an easier fit due to linkage hook up but now I can find that info any help on model number or which brand with my rebuild with a mild cam ??

I have a 63 and relaced it with an Edelbrook

I have a Holly with electric choke on my 1962 installed by a Previous owner. I think it’s a 600. It looks simple with one Throttle rod going to it. Actually I am putting together a stock Autolite to switch back to being stock.

Definitely stay with the edlbrock, unless you are gonna "track" it, Holly's, at least the ones from the 60's and 70's, were notorious for constantly having to adjust them every time the weather changes, an edlebrok is a much better carb for low maintenance and street driving.
