1963 heater core reinstallation

Hey guys. Need help putting together my 63 tbird. It does have the two tube heater core if that helps. But I don't remember where the temperature switch cable attaches too. I'm not even sure if I'm missing things. Picked this car up in pieces. Thanks

I just replaced my ‘61 heater core and valve. The piece you are holding should connect to the valve that bolts to the heater core. When you move the switch, the cable opens and closes the valve to control the flow of coolant trough the core.

Ok I think that's an early heater core.. Mine is later with the core having 2 tubes. So think I'm still looking for a slightly different piece
