Thread Title Guidelines
The harmonic balancer came apart from the rubber insulator, I replaced the harmonic balancer, it came apart from the rubber insulator again after only 300 miles.? I was running my alternator belt from the harmonic balancer pulley alone (the alternator has 2 pulleys) (crank shaft pulley also has 2 pulleys) was wondering if I could run the alternator on the second pulley and not have an alternator fan belt run on the harmonic balancer pulley? Hope I didn’t confuse anyone. Thanks for your input.

I think that should work. Does engine have much vibration? Radical cam or something?
