My car just lost brake light and left turn signal. I tried jumping brake light switch. Nothing happened. There is 12.4 volts to brake light switch. Tail lights and right signal work. They all worked yesterday. I think mybird is getting lazy and wants to stay home from the largest car event in South Mississippi, maybe the whole country

Replace the left bulb... Your brake lights can be tedious to track down. Start with power at the brake light switch. If you get power in and out, then look at the bulbs, yes, I saved the best for last. They run through your turn signal switch.... Guess where you're going to spend a lot of time checking/ tracing wires. Possibly a worn out switch. Good luck, keep us posted.

I recently replaced switch. I’ll check bulb n the morning. When I replaced wire on brake light switch, I had no voltage. Short circuit maybe?

If you have no power on either side of the brake light switch you just found your issue. Trace backwards to the power source. I don't remember if there is a fuse for the brake lights, but a wiring diagram is going to be your friend.

Is it connected to the right post? Brake lights should have constant power.

The green wire and reen wire with yellow trace were swapped on new switch. I ever thought to check before I installed it.
