1962 thunderbird window division bar channel replacement

I purchased replacement inserts for the front window division bars for my 1962 convertible. They have the metal casing and the whiskers inside. Can anybody advise how i remove the old ones and insert & secure the replacements? Thanks

Rob, I'm kind of in the same boat you were. Can you tell me if you bought and replaced the entire division bar or did you replace only the bristle channel inside the bar? Where did you find your parts. Thank you for your help.
